Through photoshop, I am able to manipulate my photographs to improve their quality, as well as create and change the whole look of a piece. Below you will see various digital paintings, as well as light graffiti which was manipulated for coloring in photoshop and projects I created for the publication of filmography.

Upon creating my artwork, I juggled many different ideas. I wanted to create a mood that was suggested, but also up to the viewer to place on each subject. In my series you will see a group of contour line drawings, all with soft natural colors and pencil lines. The simple grey background help contrast the light and shadows on each subject. I created my work in photoshop, by using digitally simulated charcoal pencil brushes to build up light onto the faces of each model. I wanted to use the placement of each models hands to help portray each mood. I believe eyes and hands can be very epressionate. They show how someone really feels without them having to tell you. If you are stressed, what do your hands do? How do they move when you are angry? Your eyes strongly express happiness, or sadness. Throughout my art you will see emotion being shown through the eyes and hands strongly. My goal is to capture students in their natural mood when in a school setting.
